Age: 26
Sun Sign: Virgo
The best thing about being a Virgo is: My natural abilities to help others feel grounded and connected to their bodies, to create warm and cozy spaces in my home and to connect with Mother Earth with ease and depth.
The hardest thing about being a Virgo is: the incessant voice of perfectionism that tries to cramp my creative expression and the harsh self criticism that follows my every move, word and piece of art. (Spoiler alert: Both require heaps of self compassion as their remedy).
I’m at my most Virgo when: I am shopping for fresh stationery! I get all giddy choosing colourful pens, notebooks and post-it notes. The excitement continues when I get home and start organizing my upcoming plans, dreams and commitments with my new fi nds! Back to school shopping has always been a yearly highlight for me — even the years I haven’t been going back to school.
My best tips for other Virgos: Learn to nourish your physical body through movement, breath practices, rest and nutrition. The wellness of your physical body is the foundation for all other layers of vibrancy and grounded connection. Learning this has helped me to thrive in my relationships, career and spirituality.
